Striped String Collection. Handmade Cotton Strings in handmade box. Seven spools of 25 yards each. Total 175 yards. We made these Striped Strings for Marth Stewart catalog for years.
Our artisan Santosh Kumar see image here spins cotton on hand spinning wheel. Each string is then dyed and twisted again to make the color combinations. During spinning the string twists into short lengths.
Women in rupalee project then, tie the string around a tree in the village and pull the lengths to 25 yards. They then wrap it on handmade spools and pack them in boxes.
Use these strings to pack gifts, make handtags, jewelry, greeting cards or whatever your imagination demands. Use the striped strings instead of ribbon.
